When J.R. and I first met it was only a few short months until his birthday, his 24th to be exact. In those few short months of knowing J.R., I knew the perfect way to celebrate his birthday would be to take him to a baseball game. That year I took him to an Angel’s game for his birthday.
J.R.'s 24th Birthday
It seems not a whole lot has changed in the past 6 years. As J.R. turned the big 3-0 this year we headed out to yet another baseball game. This has become our usual celebration. This year was the largest group that came together. That made it a little more difficult to organize. However, it was a lot of fun. J.R. enjoyed one of the longest games EVER (me? Not so much). But most importantly he enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family as we celebrated his birthday.
